On behalf of our Board of Directors and Staff, I want to thank Governor Marcel Lashover, Dawnbusters Kiwanis Club and the many other Kiwanis Club Members attending the convention for their support and generosity, Metro was invited to attend and participate in the Umbrella Fundraiser held during their convention which has raised over $2,000.00 for Metro. In addition to the Umbrella Fundraiser, the Dawnbusters Kiwanis Club donated the proceeds from their Bingo. They presented Darlene Santana, Executive Director, with a check for $2,000.00. Kiwanis has been a very generous community partner supporting Metro with meals for our Emergency Shelter, School Uniforms and sponsoring our families during the holidays. Metro is very appreciative of the generosity shown to our program by the various Kiwanis Clubs. In addition to their generosity, one of their members sits on our Board of Directors.
