Metro honors all veterans this Veterans Day. We are especially proud of our staff Mark Medina. Mark serves Metro Centers for Community Advocacy as the Community Education and Outreach Coordinator. He has been with Metro since 2014 when he began on a fellowship through a veterans program. Prior to joining the Metro team, Mark proudly served 20 years in the United States Marine Corps, including four tours to Kuwait, Iraq, and Afghanistan. He retired at the rank of Master Sergeant from Camp Lejeune, NC, and moved to New Orleans the next day with his cat. Mark is grateful to bring his veteran perspective while serving survivors and the local community! Thank you for your service!
