Government shutdown help needed!

With SNAP benefits not being added in November due to the government shutdown, many of our clients will be experiencing food insecurity.  We are planning to meet their needs by preparing a box of nonperishable food items, along with a gift card to purchase meat or produce, to feed their family.  In addition to the interruption in SNAP benefits, the WIC program will also be impacted.  Mothers with children who rely on WIC for diapers and formula will not have this program available to them in November.

We have added diapers, formula and baby wipes to our Amazon Wish gift registry, “Metro Emergency Shelter”.  The link to our updated list is below.  Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.  If you purchase the items off of our Amazon gift registry, the order will be shipped to Metro for us to distribute.
