Metro Centers for Community Advocacy (Metro) is a community based, independent non-profit 501(c) (3) social service agency serving victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, stalking and human trafficking. Metro’s services include emergency shelter, transitional shelter, medical advocacy, legal advocacy, individual and group counseling, community education and a 24-hour crisis line. Our services are available in Spanish and Vietnamese. Our mission is to break the cycle of violence and aid survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking through advocacy, intervention, empowerment, and transformation.
Please save the date for our annual fundraiser, “Raise a Glass for a Cause 12”, which will be held on Tuesday, October 28th. Our event is being held at Mo’s Chalet from 6:00-9:00pm. Your $50 ticket includes food, wine, beer and an entry into our Halloween Costume Contest. The funds raised through our fundraiser will support free and confidential services provided by Metro for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking. We appreciate your support of our fundraiser. It is through the generosity of community members like yourself that we can accomplish our mission of breaking the cycle of violence and aiding survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking through advocacy, empowerment, intervention, and transformation.
