Survivors’ Dinner

Metro held its annual Survivors’ Dinner on October 4, 2017 at Kenner Park Pavilion. Everyone in attendance enjoyed the speakers and a wonderful meal. Guest speakers were Kenner Police Chief Michael J. Glaser, Mary-Sharon Howland Assistant to Kenner Mayor Ben Zahn’s office, Mariah Wineski, Executive Director of LCADV, and Sunny Funk, Chief of Family Violence from the Jefferson Parish District Attorney’s Office. A special presentation was made to Ms. Evelena Conerly, Advocate at Metro, in recognition of her 15+ years of service and her dedication to helping survivors of domestic violence.

Metro Board of Directors and staff wish to thank the City of Kenner, Mosiant Kiwanis, and the Jefferson Parish District Attorney’s Office for making this dinner the huge success that it was.
